Stress, Anxiety, Depression, and Loneliness.
Are you experiencing any of these emotions as you get ready for NEET?
I am a student who has gone through this experience; therefore, I know how difficult it may be. Nonetheless, I'm here to give my personal stories and advice on handling my sadness while preparing for the Exam.
It's important to understand that these unpleasant feelings are common and might affect anyone initially. Sometimes feeling uncomfortable is ok. Nonetheless, it's crucial to look after your needs and ask for assistance when necessary.

Story Time
So I passed out my Inter in 2017; since I wasn't a bright student, I couldn't secure a seat in any medical college.
I did a long term in Mehdipatnam, located in Telangana; I worked hard enough but couldn't secure a seat in any medical college again.
I dropped out 3 years again for preparation, and left everything behind, like my hobbies, passion for filmmaking, playing basketball, friends, relationships, etc. Still, I couldn't achieve a seat in medical college yet all the 3 attempts.
While looking back on the years I've just wasted, I realized that I've lost all my skills in my hobbies; I've lost that connection I had earlier with all my friends; something was off with me.
While in the process of preparation, I've been through a lot of stress, anxiety, loss of self-confidence, loneliness, etc.
I realized that I'd lost everything I had for just a sole entrance exam, which changed me as a human.
I rarely smiled.
But somehow, I pushed myself ahead and surpassed all those emotions; till now, I can't say that I'm fully healed, but I think every day is progress, and hopefully, I will become normal again.
There is more to my story, but I guess that's not really that important as of now!

The Healing
Developing a support network was one of the things that helped me deal with my depression. Talking to someone about your emotions, whether it's your family, friends, or love partner, might make you feel less alone. It's crucial to surround yourself with individuals who can assist you emotionally and who are aware of what you're going through.
Self-care was another thing that was helpful to me. During this period, it's important to look after your physical and emotional well-being. This may involve things like exercising, practicing meditation, getting adequate sleep, and adhering to a balanced diet.
I remember that I joined the Gym and used to hit daily for 2 hours which helped me a lot to boost my self-confidence; It also helped me to make my mind clearer and form a proper path to walk on,
Since those two hours, I have avoided listening to music in favor of pondering my future and continuing to create a plan for it.
Also, it's crucial to pause when necessary. Don't exert too much pressure on yourself, and allow yourself some downtime. You may concentrate better and renew your thoughts by taking little pauses throughout your study sessions.
The last thing to remember is to have an optimistic outlook. Try to keep your attention on the good aspects of your life rather than the shortcomings. The accomplishment of modest objectives, engaging in hobbies, and spending time with loved ones are examples of this.

Conclusion
In conclusion, managing depression while getting ready for NEET might be difficult, but it is doable. Keep in mind to establish a support network, engage in self-care activities, take regular pauses, and adopt a positive outlook. If you're having trouble, keep in mind that getting assistance is acceptable.
You're not alone, and by working together, we can get through these obstacles.
